ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT will be returning on September 19, so mark your calendars. In related news Charlize Theron will be guest-staring in five episodes this season. If this doesn’t give everyone more incentive to watch this great show that was very close to being cancelled I have no idea what will.

Shutterbook - Drag-n-Drop Photo Sharing is running an open beta right now where they are giving out free premium lifetime accounts. This is a service a lot like Flickr. The plus on Shutterbook is that it is an easy drag-n-drop to upload your photos. Of course OS X users could always use the iPhoto plugin for Flickr that will allow to import your photos at the touch of a button. The Shutterbook premium account does have a limit of 20,000 photos, compared to the Flickr premium account that is unlimited. Still being a free beta its worth a look.

“Here is a copy of the email sent to me from my ISP after HBO caught me downloading the latest episode of Entourage. Who knew that HBO would be watching?”

That’s a little scary thinking about how many times over the last 4 years I have depended on downloading to receive quality television. I guess HBO is trying to protect its investments, but they should be looking into expanding their investments. If HBO is tech Savvy enough to track the IP’s of users downloading their shows, I would imagine that they are tech savey enough to offer their shows on Bit Torrent, for a small price of course. Luckily for HBO, Entourage is the type of programing most people would probably be willing to pay for, I know I would. It seems like misdirected effort on behalf of HBO since they will never be able to stop people from downloading, they should really be working on providing a profitable alternative.

On the subject of downloading TV shows; TipMonkies has an informative article on how to Automatically download TV shows via BitTorrent. Using a mix of RSS and Bit Torrent you will have a TiVo-like system set up, for free!

Killzone was a game that got a lot of hype and decent reviews and was added to the PS2’s greatest hits collection over the weekend. Being that I have lots of free time, I decided to check it out. So I headed down to Target to pick it up, but when I checked out something happen to me that has never happen before. I actually got carded, carded trying to buy a game. Retailers tend to have this prevision in their policies but hardly ever seem to exercise them. Not only did they card me but the chick took my id and like put my birthday into the register. Kind of a big hassle, gee I wonder what prompted this?

“Diddys” lame ass opening number at the VMA’s reminded me of G.O.B.’s magic act, only he was being serious.

rymk.com has an absolutely amazing must have program for PSP and OS X users. By using your PSP browser you can connect to your desktop and use your PSP as a remote control of sorts for iTunes, DVD Player and a few other programs. This isn’t a new program but it was recently updated and with all the mishaps with the release of v2.0, I completely forgot to try it out when v2.0 finally was released. I did finally try ry today and was amazed at how easy it was to install and use. If you have the necessary equipment than you will definitely find use for this program.

I saw this guy on HBO: Real Time with Bill Maher. He is the first Jew running for governor of Texas. I don’t know where he stands on the issues, but his name is Kinky and he is Jewish and that’s good enough for me.

If you live in Texas check him out. I think we here in california proved that just about anyone could be governor. :: Kinky Friedman Official Site ::

I made a few changes to the Site today. Nothing major, I made a half-assed bio page and added a blog roll of sorts, again half assed. If you have nothing better to do then I suggest you check them out.

For the first time in my blogging lifetime I am getting a steady flow of traffic. Most of that is due to Digg stories and google searches, but I never got anything like that on Xanga or Blogger. I am also starting to get spam comments, again never got those before.

Blogmapping is another site I tend to get traffic from. If you have a blog, and who doesn’t now and days check them out. Its not as big as the Blogmaps on Blogwise, but until google decide to release Google Earth for OS X, it will have to do.

Having a friend that died in Iraq this site makes me sick. all you black-hats and white-hats shut this site down. For just moral reasons and because they protested the funerals.

I ran an editorial about this group before but since this story has made it to the front page of Digg I decided to give it another go. This whole situation presents a major moral dilemma. Although I don’t hate this group’s message and would even consider it worthwhile to spend time in jail to physically assault the heads of this organization, they have the right to spread their message. It’s so lame, I mean fundamentally they are protesting their right to protest and that boggles my mind. This leads me to the digg story, should someone hack their site? I wish I had an answer to that, but I don’t. How could I say yes and not become a total hypocrite to my own stance on censorship. No, the Internet is great because anyone who has anything to say can. Weather it is hate groups or people with no lives who write lame rants ( Example). There is a sliver lining in situations like this though; 1.Karma. And 2. Bandwidth is not free.

I saw the 40-Year-Old Virgin yesterday, and I thought it was great. The ending of this movie was the best ending I have ever seen. It was the finest “twist” I have ever seen. I am not really even sure if it would be categorized as a twist but it was unexpected and changed the tone of the movie. This was the fist movie I have seen in a long time that had me constantly laughing throughout. The dialogue seemed ripped from conversations I have herd in the past, so if any girls want to know what guys talk about when they aren’t around, check this movie out.
